PKS Let's Face It Friday Challenge - Our Furry Friends
The LFIF this week is to create a project using animals as the main theme. How easy is that? Almost every project I create uses an animal of some kind. LOL. I used the Wide Eyed Kids face assortment for that adorable face and the sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's set, Punny-licious. I used eyelets for the first time ever. I had wanted to try them for some time, but never bought them. I used glossy accents for her ears and hooves? Do ewes have hooves? I flocked her fur and called it a day.

Gingerbread Kisses
I'm still in a Christmas craft mode, so here's a Christmas in August project. I just received my order from Scrappy Moms stamps and I had to make a card using the "Holiday wishes & Gingerbread kisses" sentiment from the Winter Wishes set.
Sadly, my gingerbread girl was a little larger than I anticipated, so the sentiment wouldn't fit nicely on the outside. But, I put it inside and it's just as adorable. The gingerbread cut is from Jolly Holidays and her cute face is from the Peachy Keen Happy Lashes set. I flocked her arms and legs to give her some added interest and her "icing" is Snow Writer sprinkled with glitter. Her bow is vintage baker's twine that I am in love with and I purchased from My Craft Spot. The snowflakes are from the Christmas Cheer cartridge.
Thanks for looking!

A flocking deer friend
So, I purchased some flocking powder a few months ago and flocked a little details on some cards, but have been wanting to spotlight flocking. While blog hopping for inspiration, I landed on The Sentimental Scrapper, Kimberly, from My Craft Spot. She made an awesome card using the cute little deer from Create A Critter. I fell in love and had to make one of my own. So, here is my card inspired by Kimberly's card which you can see here. Thanks for the inspiration, Kimberly! She even has a video showing you how to flock. I flock the same way, with the Xyron, and it works beautifully. So, without further adieu, here is my card. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Forest Friends Sentiments. I made another card, mirror image and changed up some of the colors, and cut some stamps from the Forest Friend's Sentiments set to create the "You're a deer" sentiment.
Thanks for looking!

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge
Emma's challenge this week was to use any Cricut Lite cartridge and incorporate bling. Easy enough! For my card, I used the Playtime Cartridge for the little girl. Her face is stamped with Peachy Keen's Happy Lashes face stamp set. I used Doodlecharms for her teddy bear and his face was stamped with Peachy Keen's Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed set. I flocked his little belly with pink to give him some fuzzy dimension. The sentiment I used is from Turn That Frown Upside Down from My Creative Time and the shape it's stamped on is from Lacey Labels, an awesome cartridge. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye Just the Girls stack. I found that on a lark at Home Goods. It was only $12.99 and I believe every sheet is glittered. I love that stack! So, the glitter paper, the flocking, the rhinestone gem in the center of my little girl's hair flower and her pearl dress border are the bling for this project. I had fun with this challenge!
