Thank You
I needed two Thank You cards so instead of using my stash, I made some new ones. I got to use my new DCWV stacks. For my first card, the base is Stampin Up Crumb Cake card stock, the layer is Baja Breeze layer, and the patterned paper is DCWV Linen Closet. That stack is gorgeous. The flower stamp is from Stampin Up! It's a retired set called Heartfelt Thanks. The "heartfelt" is from that stamp set, but the "Thank you" is from Papertrey Ink Thank You set.
The next card is Stampin Up Green Galore (why, oh why did they retire that color :( ) with Melon Mambo. The patterned paper is from DCWV Garden Party stack, another great stack. That card is pretty simple, but I love the colors together and the blingy patterned paper makes the card look special. Thanks for looking.

A non papercrafting project. An apron!
My sister wanted an apron with brown. I love pink and brown together so this is what I made. I wish I made myself one. My husband is the model. LOL
Here's a close up of the fabric. I love the combination together.
Thanks for looking!

An Android Weekend
My sister lives in Pennsylvania and she came to see me this weekend. We are extremely fond of our Android cell phones. LOL. I just got one in April and she is very tech-y, so she's been helping me find my way around on my Droid X. We have spent hours on the phone just playing with our phones. It's hysterical. So, we talked about her driving here to visit so we can "Droid" together. It's a little over 5 hour drive. She decided to come this weekend and we played with our computer and phones all weekend. It was a blast and I am so grateful she drove so far and left her furbabies for the weekend to come visit. So, I made this card to send her as a thank you. Isn't it adorable?! The phone is from the Paisley cartridge. The sentiments are from My Pink Stamper stamps and the "numbers" are a variety of Papertrey Ink sets I have. I'm sure she'll get a kick out of this card.
I just realized I cut the antenna out of the picture. It's there on the top left. Oh well. You get the idea. :)

My Creative Time "Throwback Thursday Challenge"
Emma's challenge over at My Creative Time was to use Doodlecharms cartridge and incorporate blue into your project. I made this pad with the Blossom Song DCWV stack and the ice cream cone is from Doodlecharms. It's simple, but it took me about 2 hours to make. Ack! The flap is closed with velcro. Thanks for looking!

MPS NSD Challenge #11
This is the last challenge I entered. I just couldn't go on. LOL. Challange #11 over at My Pink Stamper was to create a project using pink, green, and black. That was easy for me as those are just about my go-to colors anyway. I had so much fun creating these projects and playing along with My Pink Stamper. Thanks to Robyn and all of her Design Team for a lot of fun, inspiration and beautiful projects.
MPS NSD Challenge #10
I had to skip a few challenges. LOL. This next challenge was to make a project with a pet in it. Kate's ABCs has the most adorable little girls with her kitties. I first thought they were dogs, but when I compare it to Nate's ABCs, I think they're kitties. Adorable nonetheless! The stamp is My Creative Time's Color Me Happy. Everytime I look at my little doggie, she makes me smile. So, this sentiment was perfect. The patterned paper is DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl. That stack is so girly and loaded with pinks and greens. I love it! Thanks for looking.
MPS NSD Challenge #8
Ok, challenge #8 over at My Pink Stamper was to create a project with a summer theme. I haven't used Forever Young in...forever :D, so I thought this was a good time. I always think of summer when I browse this cart. I also got a chance to use my brand new Lemon Flower stack from DCWV. It is soooo pretty! It goes really well with Stampin Up! Daffodil Delight and summer. Hope you enjoy. Thanks for looking.

MPS NSD Challenge #5
For Challenge #5, I actually used Julie's (Ready Set Stamp) idea for the Explosion Box from MPS Challenge #4. Her box is much prettier than mine. I'm hoping mine will get better with practice. I had a lot of issues with the lid. I wasted about 3 sheets of paper on it. :( Thanks for the inspiration, Julie. The challenge was to create a 3D project. I used DCWV Blossom Song stack for all of the paper. This stack is so beautiful. I'm so glad I purchased the 12x12 stack instead of my usual mat stacks.
MPS NSD Challenge #4
Continuing with My Pink Stamper's National Scrapbook Day challenges, onto challenge #4. Create a Mother's Day themed project. I love these colors together: Stampin Up! Baja Breeze and Rose Red.
MPS NSD Challenge #2
Ok! Robyn's second challenge was to create a project using Kraft Cardstock. The patterned paper is from DCWV The Pets Stack. That stack is so adorable. That stamp is My Creative Time's Polka Dot Surprise. Thanks for looking.

MPS NSD Challenge #1
Robyn from My Pink Stamper had hourly challenges for National Scrapbook Day yesterday. Challenge #1 was to create a project with a cupcake theme. The stamp is from Stampin Up and the cupcake is from the Doodlecharms Cart. I used my paper crimper and some shimmer mist for the cupcake "wrapper". The paper is from DCWV Garden Party.
